Colormxr™ is a one-of-kind software application that I developed, featuring the unique colormixer interface that facilitates intuitive working and playing with color, based on the principles of RGB+CMY colormixing and methods of Interactive Color Composition. Equipped with these tools and knowledge, anybody can intelligently mix colors and create infinite harmonious color combinations, palettes and compositions.
Colormxr is a new way to color; a more elegant system for picking color values,
fine-tuning color palettes and creating graphic color creations. By creating a more intuitive link between the eye, the screen, the hand and the mind, the colormixer interface opens up vast new territories of color exploration and expression.
I use Colormxr as the basis for my own fine art practice, as well as teaching artists, designers and people from all walks of life how to create with color.
There are two flavors of Colormxr:
- RGB Colormxr is for digital artists and designers who work with screen color output.
- CMY Colormxr is for painters and print designers to explore CMY color composition, currently in beta test.
The RGB+CMY Colormxr apps are the foundation of all of my courses, which teach the methods of colormixing and Interactive Color Composition through hands-on, eyes-on color exploration and learning.
